So this Marc by Marc Jacobs tote... its pretty dope, right? (dope is my new word of the week) Yeah so anyways its not that Pretty Nyoln backpack that I'm sure everyone saw in Teen Vogue.. and then everyone BOUGHT It because its like sold out everywhere it's not at shopbop, and not at , neimans, blah and it converted into a tote, but this my friends I think is better because its bigger than the other one and can't you just see yourself walking down the hallways/ campus or wherever with it. and it won't cost too much $178. dope.

Has anyone read the aug. US Vogue? The age issue. I recommend (if you don't subscribe) to stock up on aug. & sept. issues of Bazar, Teen Vogue, Vogue, etc. because it's the start of fall and back to school and they are usually my favorite issues, especially with all the new fall ad campaigns. So anyway I must admit the Vogue age issue is not one of my favorites and I groaned a little more when I saw who was on the cover (sorry Winnona) even though she did look really fab, but all in all this issue was pretty good, and one article in particular caught my eye.

It's called Talkin' 'Bout my Generation ( I love how Vogue tries to be I guess more hip and uses 'bout and talkin' haha), in the article Vogue picked eight teenagers ranging from 14-19 to talk about what it means to dress your age, and how every generation has its pros and cons.
Why it's good to be young
Whats good for our generation is that the rules are endless, messiness is beautiful (think um cory kennedy), It's O.K to show off your figure (short shorts, mini-dresses, lets just not get skanky), and this one was my favorite: you can wear designer clothes. Like, Stella McCartney, Chloe, but they have to be worn with lower budget things, think H&M/Urban Outfitters, and vintage finds like raiding your grandmother's closet for an accessory.

Why it gets better with Age

In the article they also stated whats acceptable for when your older. Like, heels trading in your London sole flats, and your Marc by Marc Jacobs sneakers for heels, pumps, stilletos, more on a regular basis. Also they say you know your getting older when you buy Prada. I won't complain. Mixing things will still be O.k also, like fusing some younger trends but still looking appropriate. Also, dressing becomes a lot easier when your life gets a lot more hectic.

So the article inspired me to raid my grandmother's closet and I came up with a few things...

This Louis Vuitton messenger bag circa 1991, O.k so it kind of resembles a baby's diaper bag or something, but I plan on using it for my video camera (I make short stories, film alot etc.), it was actually my mom's although it was at my grandmother's house.

I also found this vest, I'm in love with it. It looks better on than it does on the floor obviously but I was so suprised my grandmother had something that I would actually wear in public besides her old pearls or something. So you should all give it a try raid your sisters, mothers, grandmothers, closets who knows what you will find.

The New Icons

Sorry I've been so M.I.A, but thats what summer does... But I'm back with avengence. Ok so back to the post... Anyways, we all know Kate, Nicole, Mischa, Sienna, etc. etc. People of our generation we look up to as far as style, and while peoples are always different theres always that certain someone you just have to see what they are wearing. So I give you the people that will be ones to watch, they are underage and are destined to become the next icons.

1. Emma Roberts is only 16 years old but already has an ad campaign with Dooney & Bourke, a T.V show, and a couple of movies under her belt. Ok her success may have to do with the fact she is the neice of uh Julia Roberts, but still we are getting beside the point what really matters, is that she will most likely be a style icon someday.
She has a timeless, glam style from the Alice and Olivia sequined dress, to those trendy high waisted pants that I must say she pulls off really well, I admire her already.

2. Hayden Pannettiere this heroes star who turns 18 next month has that glam california girl style. Not many 18 year olds can say they have walked the numerous red-carpets like Hayden has, and not many people can pull of yellow but Hayden does it perfectly.

I absolutley love the red aviators she wears (Marc Jacobs?) and her relaxed beachy style. Yeah, she is deffinitly icon material.

3. Emma Watson,17, the Harry Potter star has deffinitly been one on everyone's radar especially since she has been wearing Chanel Haute Couture at almost every Harry Potter and the Order of the Pohenix Premire/Press thingy or whatver. Chanel even had to tell WWD that she "Chooses to wear Chanel". Not many adults have even worn Chanel, let alone Chanel Haute Couture and unlike Eva Longoria (look at PDFTM latter post) she pulls it off extremely well.
Emma also has a timeless, sophisticated style maybe its the name, Emma. Did I mention she also just signed with Storm Models? Yea, this Brit is sooo gonna be an icon.

4. Cory Kennedy, 17, how could I mention up and coming icons without Cory Kennedy? So her claim to fame may just be having her picture taken at the right time because of her crazy style and mingling with celebrities but who cares? The girl has got such an orignial style, that people are constantly trying to copy, from her headbands to her dirty hair.

Cory has the grunge hippie style that everyone wishes they could pull off. Oh and if you check her blog she had a garage sale this past Sunday, were you there?

5. Lulah Willis (formerly Tallulah), the youngest of the bunch and the only one that has legally changed her name (thank god), Lulah is only 13 years old but already has that icon mentality. Her style is ridiculously chic, but who can blame her look at her parents and sisters.

If this is how she dresses when she is 13 one can only dream with what she will come up with when shis 16. BTW: I am lusting over that sparkly black mini dress. hot.

So tell me aren't these girls icons in the making? OR did I leave out some icon worthy honerable mentions?

So the purpose of this post is two things. I'll start off by saying how excited I am for the SPICE GIRLS WORLD TOUR. Yeah, old news I know but don't lie your thinking back to those sleepovers you had either watching the movie, Spice World, or in between stuffing your face singing, no screaming obnoxiously IF YOU WANNA BE MY LOVER YA GOTTA GET WIT MY FRIEEEENDS. And my god where have these girls been, Posh has been everywhere whoring herself around L.A, Baby Spice is preggers and doing that commercial you know where its like shes making some sauce or something and its like not even a spice girl can think of what to add, corny stuff. Scary Spice has been having that Baby daddy drama with Eddie Murphy who is in fact the father, but Sporty where ya been? You too Ginger! Yeah so anyway here is the schedule of the SPICE GIRLS world tour kicking off later this year.

Alright, so now that I have professed my love for the Spice Girls, check out the pants ahem trousers Victoria Beckham is wearing, yes those are leather, and I am afraid to say it is making a comeback.

Here is Cat Deely at the Concert for Diana rocking the pants, I must say she does look pretty hot in them, with a French Connection top (who's brand I am falling more in love with) and chunky bangles, and I adore those boots. We can ultimately forgive/praise Ms. Deely for wearing these and being so brave...
So readers I have two life altering questions for you, not exactly life altering but anyways

1. Are you peeing in your pants the Spice Girls are back? or just really could not care..

2. Will you embrace the leather pants trend? or stay as humanly possible far away from the clutches of death that are leather pants, I mean can your thighs possibly breathe in those?

Nicole Richie on the cover of august's Nylon Magazine, and as you can see by the cover she has no idea why she is famous... I bet if she was say 50 pounds heavier she would deffinitly NOT be famous. In the mag nicole says: "I think people just want to say: 'Oh, she doesn’t have a job she doesn’t do anything.' They get off on that. But I do have a job, like everyone else."
Can someone enlighten me and tell me what her job is, the simple life?

Nicole says this about being a role model for teens: "I don’t walk around pretending that I’m perfect, so I don’t think anyone should hold me to that. The dangerous thing is that there are 16 -, 17 -, 18 –year-olds that people consider to be role models. I’m so happy I wasn’t famous back then …"
Do people seriously consider her a role model? I just like her clothes, honestly. I kinda really wan't this issue and may have to start subscribing.

2007 BET Awards Fashion

The 2007 BET Awards were last night, here is the best and the worst dressed of the
night.

Lets start off with Beyonce who wore a snug fitting Dolce & Gabbanna dress from their fall 2007 line. I don't really like it all too much just because it's extremly gaudy, and not all that flattering so I say MISS.

Here is Alicia Keys and I love the color of this Monique Lhuillier dress from her Spring 2007 line. I was watching E! and when one of the correspondents asked her who the designer was, she forgot! But the host searched for a tag and found out who the designer was... so embarassing but this is a HIT.

Here is ANTM winner Ms. Eva Pigford not crazy about this look at all, but she does look really pretty. Overall, MISS.

Here is Eve in Dolce & Gabbanna, I am just not feeling Dolce right now, and I am so over the animal prints my god they are everywhere. MISS.

Here is Nicole from the Pussycat Dolls, I like her make-up and she looks pretty as always and even a little feline like, but everything else just is not working. Whats up with the hair? Get it whats up, haha, kidding. MISS.

I am really loving Rihanna's whole look, her dress is amazing and its by Hervé Léger, and that haircut is so gorgeous on her she really looks light, summery and beautiful. HIT.

American Idol winner Jordin Sparks in Diane von Furstenberg. I am on the fence on this one just because its a little borring and she looks a little frumpy. I love her, but um MISS.

Everyone's into that really blunt style haircut right now, I love it and Ciara's whole look is really pretty. Plus check out how buff she is. HIT.

Victoria's Secret 'supermodel' Selita Ebanks. I like this look a lot Sexy and Classy, Hit.

Wow really long post. Anyways, yes this is what I thought was the best and the worst. Don't agree with me? Tell me.

Surprise Surprise another celeb. clothing line! This one comes from Sienna Miller and sister Savannah called Twenty8Twelve. Savannah is actually a graduate from Central Saint Martins school of design in London, so I'm guessing she is the one who actually designs the clothing and Sienna is the one who is there to display it and gets the press going about it because of her 'celeb' factor.

Here is Sienna wearing one of the lines frocks at Galmour Women of the year awards, and the lines camisole with jeans. I'm not so crazy about the LBD, almost everyone probably has something in their closet similar, but I do like that camisole a lot, too bad that cardigan isn't also in the line.

The fall collection will include everything from denim jeans, printed silk dresses, tanks, t-shirts and cropped tuxedo jackets. Priced wholesale from $24-177 and higher for leather and other pieces. Here is more from the line, and while the outfits look a little blah, I can see pieces that I like. The line will be available exclusively at Bergdorf Goodman New York, Neimans in L.A and Holt Renfew in Canada. In addition they will be opening their own boutique in London’s Notting Hill area.

I am kind of excited but I have a feeling this just might as well be another celeb line, like we really need another.

7 Deadly Sins of Moi!

I've been tagged! By the fab Ciao Bella from Shopaholic to write 7 things about myself! Fashion is obvious but there are other things you may or may not know about me...

1. I am a total Gossip!
Yeah, I know big deal what girl doesn't? But I love gossiping its like a hobby, a rather bad one but honestly, I don't care, Its fun especially at sleepovers, admit you love it when your bored, or not bored you call up your girlfriend and ask her if she heard about how someone came home completely wasted from that party she definitely was not supposed to be at and her parents... O.k I will stop the rambling, but this brings me to my next thing...

2. I love Gay Guys
Not that I am in love with gay guys, that would be completely dumb, I just love gossiping with them, and I've had a couple gay guys as ballet teachers, jazz, etc. and let me just say they are hilarious! Plus gay guys can get away with things most people can't... no seriously would it really be O.K if your boyfriend started gossiping with you, or pointed out a guy he thought was cute? NO! Look at Perez Hilton, that just would not be O.K if he was straight! And they always tell you the truth, even when you don't want to hear it like if your butt looks big in those $200 True Religions you just bought. So if your lucky enough to know a gay guy thats cool, but to be friends with one is even cooler.

3. I am a ~~Tabloid~~ Us Weekly Whore
Yes of course I'm addicted to fashion magazines, thats a given, but I'm also addicted to tabloids! I have no clue why I need to see who made the worst dressed list so I can laugh, and I need to see who made the best so I can decide why they need to go on the worst. I don't know I'm physco about getting my US weekly fix... actually, you know what I should change this title because US weekly is the god of tabloids, and Star, and all the rest are crap, they really are. And for some reason I need to know what child Brangelina decided to adopt this week and if they are taking cute teenagers around 15 years old, hey it could happen. I also need to know if Nicole Richie has gained a pound, and who decided they needed to go to rehab that week or who's publisct told them to go to rehab. But really its not my fault, blame it on that nasty habit of gossiping.

4. I Hate Chocolate
I get crap about it every time the opportunity arises for me to eat some. When someone offers me chocolate, I'll say no thank you, and then they will say something like, what are you on a diet? And I'll say nope, I just don't like it. When people hear this I swear you would have thought I said I was a terrorist, Nazi or something because they give me this blank stare for a couple of seconds, and then say something on the lines of your weird. Chocolate bleh, whatever, you people who like chocolate out there probably looked at the tile of this number and gave it a blank stare, don't lie chocolate has this weird effect on people, like it gets you freaking addicted, well being addicted to chocolate is the last thing I need which brings me to my next thing..

5. I am the Poster Child for A.D.D
So you probably already knew that one but seriously like I'm already getting tired with this post and ready to move on to the next one. Its sad it really is, I can't ever finish one task, so I've never been tested for A.D.D and I'm not trying to jinx myself or anything its just a known thing, people in my school get extra time on tests/exams if they are proven to have A.D.D, well people ask me hey why aren't you getting extra time, because they know I have it, I know I have it, and my math teacher has told me I have it. The reason I haven't got tested is because my mother is in seroius denile, whatever, someone just needs to put me on some riddilin quick.

6. I have an Obsession with Hello Kitty
I absolutely love Hello Kitty! She is the cutest little thing without a mouth ever! I have a couple of Hello Kitty wallets, a compact mirror, some stuffed Hello Kitty animals, pillows, ipod cover, etc. etc. In the 8th grade I came to school with this little Hello Kitty backpack a couple people said they have seen a similar one on their 6, 7 year old siblings, whatever, its the kid in me, my next Hello Kitty item will be the toaster like when its toasting, and then it pops up Hello Kitty's face is like printed n the toast. Yeah I know its pretty rad.
7. I Love Disney Channel
Suite Life of Zack and Cody, Hannah Montana, Life With Derek, That's So Raven, love them all. However let me say I hate Cory in the House what a dumb show. But anyways I love those little teeenie boppers. Ohh and I love when Disney Chanel shows Boy Meets World, or Sister Sister the classsics. God, it's the kid in me.

Viva La Italia!

I feel like such a bad blogger, and well I guess I should since I haven't posted anything in ages! But its not all my fault, really, my internet has been acting pretty physco the last week. Anyways I totally wish I was bilingual... in Italian, I bought the Vogue Italia with Gemma Ward on the cover only because she looked so gorgeous and the editorials were amazing and would be a great edition to my wall. (I cover my walls in editorials, some covers, ads, etc.). But who really cares about reading the articles, its really all about the pictures which tell a story themselves (plus I barely read any articles in US Vogue). Cool Like Chloe has inspired me to write this because as she was noticing how much more intriguing French Vogue is I couldn't help noticing the simplistic quality of Vogue Italia covers.

Covers I feel like say a lot, I mean it is the first thing you see and this one is absolutely breath taking, its model Doutzen Kroes by the way.

This one I is probably one of my all time favorites, it doesn't have all the messy words around the gorgeous picture (model Angela Lindvall) and it just has one statement, minimalism=perfection.

Heres an older Vogue Italia with Gemma Ward, so simple and beautiful and one statement that basically tells what the issue is about.

Come on US we went from iconic covers like this, nice and simple...

To completely blah covers, with the same washed out celebrities and who really reads whats on the outside of the covers, too messy and too much going on.
So which do you prefer the busy, covers of US Vogue with the O.K celebrities, or the simple breath-taking models on Vogue Italia?

Hot Trends for Summer 07!

So this summer its all about little white dresses, denim cut-offs, etc. Above is Nicole Richie looking like the typical L.A girl with her Ray Bans, skittle pants and the Balenciaga, but I mean I can't hate she does look hot.

LWD (The Little White Dress) Britney Spears (looking somewhat decent), and Mischa Barton both in crochet white dresses and Kate Hudson in a cute cotton one.

Denim cut-offs! This is a must for summer!Mischa, Ashley Olsen, and Lindsay Lohan all wear them, I'm kinda liking the pockets sticking out.

Heres Nicole Richie wearing the pair of denim cut offs I am dying to get by Siwy.

Bangles! I love bangles they finish off any look, especially gold ones. Drew Barrymore (loving her gazillion bangles), Jennifer Lopez and Marley Shelton stack 'em high.

Still so confused on this trend, but its looking better you just gotta know how to wear it, and Mischa (middle) definitely does not!

Nautical! Nautical is always in, and primp has a ton of cute nautical hoodies and T's like the one Paris Hilton is wearing.

Please no trend over loads though people, I mean yeah break out those Ray Bans, But wearing them with the high wasted jeans, and nautical-ish things, and a ton of other trends is annoying, really, moderation people.

Some things you should know...

1. Apparently Marc Jacobs got a myspace, I know your like well its fake but no apparently its real. According to fashionista and some reliable sources of hers, add him!

2. Scarlet Johansson for Louis Vuiton FW07... again, the ads look kind of old hollywood glam, but I feel like maybe they should have gotten someone else considering she was just in their SS07 ads.

3. Daria Werbowy is out from hiding, and looking chicer than ever, is 'chicer' a word?

4. Apparently the I'm Not a Plastic Bags are soo plastic *gasp*. They are apparently factory made in China which has PLASTIC written all over it in big bold letters. I still can't help but want one of these so called 'eco-friendly' bags... oh come on your shocked yes, but you got over it, and you sill want one too.

p.s: the title of this post was totally about these bags.

5. Anthropologie currently is my hero because there reducing some hot ass skittle jeans from $168 to $19.95, and they have virtually every size they are only in yellow and blue I already have a blue pair from Urban Outfitters, but the yellow isn't looking too bad... of course my friends might call me big bird or say other unmentional things to me but I think I could pull 'em off, and did I metion they are only $20? Way cheaper than the Urbans..

6. I'm in search of the perfect white dress for summer... won't you help me fellow bloggers?

Dont Believe the Hype

Soo Bitten by Sarah Jessica Parker, is crap. The line debuted on Oprah last week and I must say I expected more from Sarah. Remember that post I had about it back in March where I hyped the line up, aparently for nothing? But I mean the line is I guess its decent and everything is under $20 but I mean come on would you rather have a sucky cheap line or a kind of expensive line that is how do you say: The Shit.

The denim jacket is not working for me, at all, but the 2nd dress isnt too bad.

The jeans are actually not that bad but the 2nd look not really feeling that whole unflattering dress.

Ok so it wasnt all bad and it is all under $20 but SJP I had higher expectations from an ex- monolo, Jimmy Choo, Prada wearing girl... well actually that was mainly Carrie from Sex and the City...

You Know You Love Me

Oh snap, oh snap Gossip Girl is coming to a t.v near you. Yes you heard me not the silver screen that was rumored but the small screen.

You know the books written by Cecily von Ziegesar, multi-millionare teenagers living the posh life in Manhattan. So you know the show will be all things chic considering all the Jimmy Choo, Gucci, and the rest of the clothing descriptions we got in the book. The same guy who got me hooked on the O.C (Josh Schwartz) is the producer of Gossip Girl, so I'm sure this will be a hit. And if you haven't read the books theres still time the T.V show is reportedly to come out on the CW for the fall 2007-2008 season.

Here's the cast:

Blake Lively as Serena van der Woodson, I guess she is a pretty good choice not stunningly beautiful as the book describes Serena but I think Blake is a pretty good actress (she was in Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants; Accepted).

This is not how I would have envisioned Blair Waldorf (Serena's BFF) played by Leighton Meester, I like that she is sort of an unknown actress but I picture Blair as a more timeless beauty and not with the bright red lipstick and long curly locks. Maybe she will look better on screen.

Nathanial 'Nate' Archibald Blair's boyfriend (and sometimes Serena's), played by some unknown actor, Chace Crawford. Again, this is not exactly how I picture Nate. I saw him as being a more scruffy kind of 'I don't try to be hot I just am' look, this guy looks like he spends more time in the bathroom than me.

Whoever cast Jenny Humphrey was on crack. This girl is the same girl from the Grinch movie you know Cindy loo hoo or whatever her name is as Taylor Momsen. She looks nothing like the descriptions of Jenny Humphrey, big boobs and curly brown hair. Although she does have the innocent young like face.

All in all I am super excited not just because my favorite book is coming to... life but the super hot fashions that come with it. you can view this cast and the rest of the cast: Dan, Chuck, Dan's dad and a couple others here.

Summer is fast approaching, I mean fast! I mean I have like literally 20days of freshman year left, I almost slapped my friend when she told me this great news! Anyways, to celebrate the school year dwindling down why not look at these haute sandals that I am loving, (almost as much as school almost being over).

Everyone has these by Bernado, I love the brass ring, I would have gotten them but Nordstrom's did not have my size, and I didn't feel like ordering them.

So I know people say that Banana Republic is for 'older' business women or something, but they are getting pretty young so I got these sandals from Banana the other day, I love them and they are way cheaper than the Bernado.

These are from Urban Outfitters, they never cease to amaze me being so on top of trends.

Splure These are way out of my price range, but I can't help but admirer these gladiator sandals from Anthropologie.

Ok so basically Kate Moss for TopShop is flying off the racks (surprise.. surprise..) but hey look on the bright side you can buy the clothes online... NOT. Is it just me or is virtually everything on the TopShop website (in your size) out of stock? No seriously, everything, even shoes. I thought maybe because I wear a large size shoe it would be to my advantage, nope! But the collection is coming to Barney's May 8th... so maybe there is hope for us yet, doubt it, it will probably fly off the racks within I say 2hours?

Btw: Kate has managed to take vain to a whole new level, check out the life sized Kate, but I'm not gonna lie if I was a hot model I would have a manequin (I have no idea how to spell that) of myself, don't lie you would too.

So this weekend I saw Disturbia, (I just realized its supposed to be like suburbia) and unlike many teen scary movies it was really really good.

Shia was surprisingly good in it and he's come along way since his Even Steven's days. So he spies on his neighbors because he's on house arrest and one neighbor he thinks is a serial killer no one believes him, he's like the boy that called serial killer and well you know how that story goes.

Anyways it was you know kinda typical with the girl next door, literally. Her acting kind of sucked and throughout the movie Shia (or Kale) was like horny for her throughout the whole movie which got annoying.

Overall if you have not seen it go watch it $7.50 well spent and don't forget to gaze at the pic above, eye candy, right?

These bangles are hauttte. These are Scrimshaw bangles designed by Jessica Cushman and are sold at Barneys and are $800- each. They are hot hot hot they have cute little quotes and clever/funny sayings on them. And if your thinking hmm these look similar to the Chanel ones... wrong! The Chanel one's look similar to the scrimshaw one's because these have been out for a while and the Chanel one's are pretty new, and haven't even hit boutiques yet, but they are considerably less for Chanel $600? Anyways both bracelets are hot, anyone wanna buy me one?

So the trend right now are skittle pants. No, the candy brand has not come out with pants... that are skittles, and they are not edible. But they are extremely bright and slightly blinding and incredibly HAUTE. So there are a couple of brands that sell the extremely bright pants and I'm loving these Urban Outfitters ones I have them in purple and red.
Here are the Urabn one's don't you love them? and *gasp* they are only like $60 I plan on getting the blue. By the way the color is more purple-y in person.

Heres Ashlee Simpson Not in UO but in Rich&Skinny you can get 'em for $180 at Shopintuition.com if you really want to pay that much but I am absolutely adoring this color and I must have them.

Forever 21 is phys-co. Ok so yes they are a pretty cute store more like a less hot version of H&M. But I mean come on first DVF now Anna Sui? So they are obviously not being sued over this "inspired" Anna Sui shirt thingy because it's still on their website and all but come on how desperate can you be? So it's definitely not the exact copy because that blouse thing or 'maven top' as they call it, is a joke. I look at it and I laugh, It's priced at $17.80 and if your thinking about being a pirate for halloween you can buy it here.
Forever 21 whats happening to you, you might as well be one of those little knock off shops in little Tokyo.

The Hills Season 2 Finale!

Sweet. My answer is get out of my car. Can you believe that jerk pressuring Heidi to move in with him? Oh and if you haven't seen the Hills season 2 finale and don't want it spoiled don't read this, and quick go to mtv.com to watch it, ok back to the juicy stuff. Anyways, The Hills this season was pretty good I must admit, I mean Heidi and Lauren falling out over Spencer (Hello, Heidi have you never heard of chicks before d___'s?) and plus not to mention the tiny look at an interns life at Teen Vogue. Boys, Drama, Fashion in one place is destined for disaster. Kidding, but the finale had a great mix of all of this.

Whitney had her big job interview in New York for fashion contributor at Teen Vogue! I think she is so sweet, and she seems really passionate about fashion, I mean of course she would go to Paris if given the opportunity instead of moving in with a boyfriend she was going to end up breaking up with a few months later. But don't get me wrong I love Lauren she just is not as focused I guess as Whitney.

Oh and speaking of lame boyfriends Heidi went back to Spencer? I know right? I guess, "get out of my car" wasn't that awful, and she could forgive him. bleh. And she moves out, poor Lauren. She didn't seem happy for Heidi at all, but who would be, with a boyfriend like hers? I mean he was the reason Heidi and Audrina didn't speak!

But guess who's bunking together? Lauren and Audrina! Match made in heaven. Whats up with Audrina anyway? Does she go to school, and where does she work, again?

The episode was good but I still have burning questions!!
1. What happens with Whitney and that job??
2. Do Lauren and Audrina stay roomies?
3. Does Heidi figure out what a jerk spencer is? And if so does she come crawling back to Lauren?

I guess that's what season 3 will be for.

Scarlett Johansson on the cover of April's Vogue, she looks absolutely amazing and she is so perfect for their 'body' issue.

Naomi Campbell looking so fabulous for community service, We've all heard about Naomi and her abusing her housekeeper or whatever and to pay the price she had to do 5 whole days of grueling community service, thats no job for a supermodel! But I have to admit it was ever amusing to see her come to work with a goofy grin and a fur coat.

Nanette Lepore for Keds! Nanette gives the shoe brand a cool, edgy funky twist and they really update the Keds with cool stripes and bright prints but hurry and get your pair because, “Gwen Stefani and Mischa Barton were pictured in them and they sold out less than a week after hitting Office in the UK - we had to double the order immediately!” a spokesman for Keds told Vogue.co.uk."

That Silver, Gold, Metallic eye! So chic and so so glam for SS07!

Oh and well this isn't totally an obsession it is still really cool, its called Fashion Camp NYC and it's to show teens in Manhattan an inside look at making it in the fashion industry and the business behind it and all that, kind of similar to Teen Vogues weekend thing back in the fall? The Simple Life 5: Camp Counselors

So I don't know about anyone else but I am super excited for the next Simple Life 5, Nicole is hilarious and Paris as far as I'm concerned is her sidekick. But anyways this season Paris, 26 and Nicole, 25 are going to be doing a series of themes each week, and uh one week happens to be fat camp? Here's what a rep for E! said:

"They are going to be camp counselors at one camp in the Southern California Mountains," says an E! spokesperson. "The camp has five different themes. Each week will be a different theme. And yes, one week is a weight loss/fitness camp. It's not a fat camp."

O.K well, Nicole who has admitted to having suffered weight issues and eating problems so I don't know if she's probably the best person for the job. But oh the irony, Paris on the other hand is the spokesmodel for a well known burger chain. Anyone remember those racy Carl's Jr. commercials where she's seen practically making love to a burger?

Oh I would love to have Paris and Nicole be my camp counselors! But fat camp exscuse me weight loss camp, that will probably be good motivation for them you know to be as skinny as Nicole or Paris, and oh they are going to have to work really hard.

Willa Holland! Yes you know her as lil Cooper from The O.C, and this girl is definitely one to watch. I liked her bad girl type character on The O.C although she annoyed me at times, but she did look mega adorable on the cover of April's Teen Vogue.

Although the article was short it did kind of seem like she had a snotty attitude at times especially when she says,
"The three months (in high school) were the worst three months of my life. I was surrounded by teenage drama and all that and everyone was complaining about everything they had to do, about homework and this and that- and I'm like, 'Hello? I'm balancing a job here as well. Try having a carer.'" You were there three months? Hello hunny, some of us are going to be there for four years. But besides all that I liked the photo shoot.

Teen Vogue even made this shirt for her! Even though she was only on The O.C for about a season she says, "The show really put me on the map and helped launch my career."

Here's Willa at the Teen Vogue Young Hollywood party looking gorgeous in a tight leopard print dress. But she says her day to day style is: "Relaxed... My favorite things to wear are C&C tank tops with a cashmere sweater over skinny jeans from J Brand." Typical Cali girl.

Willa Holland is definitely a girl on everyone's radar, and I can definitely see a budding Lindsay Lohan (unfortunately) but hey who knows.

Spring Break 07 Essentials!

So Spring Break for many of us is fast fast fast approaching and I bet many of us cannot wait to go to someplace haaute! And trade those boots, cords, and scarves for flip-flops, skirts, and sunglasses. So while you go on spring break trip theres just a few essientals that a girl just needs to have.

No no you silly thing, no one was bitten by Sarah Jessica Parker this is just the new name of her clothing line! Oh yes you heard me the former Sex and the City star who an amazing wardrobe on the show which she got to keep I might add is coming out with her very own clothing line. She's using all those fabulous connections of hers to make a clothing line, and honestly I'm not too excited about it.

The collection will be sold exclusively at all Steve & Barry’s shopping mall locations across the country beginning June 7, with every item priced at $19.98 or less. High Waisted Jeans? The New Trend?

So High waisted jeans are slowly making a comeback, and frankly I'm not so sure if I like it. Maybe its because I dont want to wear pants that look like I have a permanet wedgie or the thought of soccer moms, wearing you know the classic, "mom jean" cannot exscape my mind, however the new trend is way more updated than the light wash back, 80's ish style jean.

Here is Ciara from her video for Promise and I must say she did look incredible, even though it looks like she cannot breathe she looks fierce.

Kate Moss for Top Shop!

So many of you are anticipating Kate Moss' collection for Top Shop later this spring (collection arrives MAY 2007) well more details have been revealed! The collection is said to be an 80-piece collection based on many of Kate's own clothes, there is a pretty blue and grey poppy print short silk dress (£45) inspired by Moss's vast collection of vintage dresses. A yellow and black striped busboy jacket (£65), waistcoat (£35) and micro-shorts (of course) (£30) are typical of her taste for turning masculine clothes into something incredibly sexy.

“Yes dahling, it’s sell, sell, sell,” Kate Moss says of her new apparel collection for Topshop.UK Vogue have snagged an exclusive with Topshop and Kate to unveil the collection in a 10-page exclusive feature in which Moss also dishes on her inspirations for the collection. “I thought it should be a bit more edgy. Just because you’re wearing a pretty dress, it doesn’t have to be all pretty-pretty,” she says. “I’d just gotten this book of photographs about that club Studio 54 and I wanted it more like that.”

There is also a steel grey pinstripe blazer (£65) with matching boy-cut trousers (£45) and a white shirt scrawled with her friend's names that was inspired by Moss's own school shirt. There is also a few dressy peices such as evening gowns and things of the like.

Moss may not have actually designed the collection personally (she has taken her own clothes and other vintage finds into a design team for "inspiration") but there is a very clear Kate Moss signature throughout the line. While some pieces may not look extraordinary, Moss's selling power is well-documented. She has a talent for kick-starting fashion trends, popularising everything from a Balenciaga handbag and Diesel denim hotpants to Wellington boots by Hunter.

So the italian designers everyone loves so much Dolce & Gabbana have decided to pull a SS07 ad because of criticism they've faced and that it condoned violence among women. At a glance I did not think the ad did this but then after really looking at it, the ad kind of looks like gang rape I mean a bunch of guys around this one girl. Anyways, here is what they had to say:

"We have decided to cancel ... the advertising image that has caused such repercussions within human interest groups and individuals," Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana said in an emailed statement.

"It was never our intention to ... offend anyone or promote violence against women," the designers, whose latest womenswear collection featured riding crops and silver eye-masks, added.

Some publications do feature the ad just because of timing of the matter.

Obsession of the Moment: The Shirt Dress

So I know you have all seen them, and many of you haveing fallen madly in love with them (like moi) but my newest obsession (which I have many and it changes daily) is the shirt dress. You know the shirt dress, the type of dress that looks like your boyfriends button down, well its basically that except modified to look totally chic and not like its, your boyfriends. (The one shown above is by Young Fabulus & Broke, my fave.)

These Two Dresses are by Nili Lotan and Splendid, the Splendid one on the right is not my favorite, it's too I just borrowed this from my boyfriendish, but I love how the Nili Lotan one it's super dressy-causal with that belt.

The blue dress is by Joie and the white one is by Splendid, the model also modeled the Splendid dress without pantts which was pretty daring and I don't want to sound cheesy or anything but yes it was a bit risque (sp?) and I felt like she was naked so I didnt post that one up, but these two are again some of my favorites!

Its a girls twist on a classic traditional boys buttown down- and I love love love it

Giorgio Armani prepared to sell fashion empire?

So apparently Giorgio Armani, 72, has recently reportedly said to a newspaper that he is prepared to sell his $6.5 billion, fashion-mega empire? Yeah I know, what?

"I'm prepared to sell to the highest bidder," Armani told the business daily, Handelsblatt at the opening of an Armani exhibition in Milan on Tuesday.

L'Oreal could be a possible partner considering they already collaberate with Arami on the company's perfumes and cosmetics.

"L'Oreal could be a partner. But if somebody else offers more, they could also be a partner," said Giorgio. I know what your thinking, what about passing down the empire to one of his kids or something, nope, no kids. Whoever gets the company hopefully the clothes will stay as fabulous as they did this season.

So the Oscar's we're good but the fashion's were better, so of course I have to highlight the night's hits... and misses.

Nicole Kidman, Portia de Rossi and Cate Blanchett- all very lovely and shoulder bearing. All Hits.

Oh know, have you learned nothing from the Devil Wears Prada, Anne? Deffinitly a Miss.

Oh but Anne's costar, Emily Blunt did the movie justice in this form fitting number. Hit.

Beyonce, always gorgeous but I do not know what to think about the dress... it's much better than alot of her previous red carpet fashions and well I guess for her its is a hit. But in gernal, miss.

Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Lopez and Rinko Kikuchi- wow Reese, way to bounce back show him what he's missing, Jennifer's look is also amazing, but way to be different than the rest of the skin tight dresses of the night, that one actually looks comfortable. All hits!!

Cameron Diaz, I have no words. I have to say, Miss. But her hair and makeup is gorgeous!

So tonight the SERIES FINALE of the O.C came on, and to be honest I'm extremely sad its really over. I mean first Marissa dies you can't kill off a main character, then Taylor and Ryan?? Random? Then Kirsten get's pregnant. I mean writers did you run out of things to say? But despite this disappointing fourth season I still loved the show (especially the clothes) and I am sad to see it go. The season finale wasn't all that bad either I mean Ryan became an archeitect, Summer and Seth got married!! Julie had her little boy and Kirsten with her little girl, it was a good ending.

Apparently Britney Spears has shaved her head, completely, she's bald. And well we still do not know the reason (however nothing can really justify this) she kind of looks like she's ready for boot camp. And with the rough past year she's had she's probaby doing this for a "fresh start" and while we wont ever understand it, it could be a good thing for her. It kind of also reminds of Natalie Portman when she had to go bald for that V for Vendetta film.

But I deffinitly liked it better on Nat.

Dakota Fanning for Marc Jacobs SS07

So this may be old news but I'm sure everyone has heard about that annoying 12 year old little actress Dakota Fanning becoming the new muse for Marc Jacobs' SS07 thats right Marc Jacobs not Marc by Marc I'm talking this Ad is going to be in Vogue, W, Elle... Some people may be confused like why, she's so tiny and some people just think it was a bad decision on Marc's part, but personally... i really like it. I mean it's refreshing to see something really different, and isn't that what fashion is all about?

I think Marc is going for that fashion is for every generation sort of thing because does anyone remember when he had that elderly couple on the bed for one of his FW06 ads? Anyways, Dakota may just be the luckiest pre-teen ever, the clothes were even specially made for her.

First off let me say I have been sucked in by the American-Idol ex. Jennifer Hudson. And I think the rest of America has as well. Dream Girls was an amazing movie and Jennifer was ah-may-zing as well. That movie alone has made her a star overnight! She's the 3rd African-American woman to be nominated for Oscar- ever and while thats phenominal I think the biggest achievement for her is being a curvy woman to grace the cover of VOUGE.

I never really knew who Jennifer was until Dreamgirls and maybe the best thing for her was the fact that she didnt win American Idol because who where she would be, just another American Idol with a crappy CD? And the fact that she is soo humble is probably why she has also been so successful I mean have you heard any Diva-ness from her? (well not yet but hopefully never).

So Yes, you heard me the magazine that's infamous for its waif thin, pixie faced models is featuring a curvy African-American woman on the cover...

and its wonderful.

Hey all! As you can see this is my very FIRST blog post! So as I was deciding what to write about I thought why not my favorite looks of the FW07 season. Yes I know its not even spring yet but already we're talking about fall and winter? But hey thats fashion.

I did not think the whole collection was bad there were actually a few peices I liked but overall it was a bit boring, and i honestly felt like I had seen the collection before, on my grandma. Hopefully next season's is better Marc!
